Lakes & Parades

June has been flying by. We have been enjoying the beautiful weather. Granted it has rained alot but these 90 degree days are making up for it. We have also been busy attending the area parades Windom's Riverfest and Mt. Lake's Pow Wow. Ethan and Hunter were so lucky to be in the Pow Wow parade with Grandpa and Dad. We also spend alot of time out at Cottonwood Lake trying to cool off. Even Abrielle enjoys taking a "dip" in the water.

June already?!?

So, i thought i would write a little update. Seems to be a once a month occasion i write a blog. Hope to get better (i say that everytime). School is winding down now for Austin and Ethan. Tomorrow is their last day. Can't believe it. Next week they both have Vacation Bible School and Day camp so that will keep them busy for awhile. Austin won 1st place in his Bike Rodeo at school. Ethan won a new helmet in his class. So, they have been pretty lucky. Maybe i should have them buy me a powerball ticket ;)

I enjoyed chaparoning Ethan's Field trip the the US Fish and Wildlife Center. It was actually alot of fun and very educational. We went for a walk down the paths to find the Trumpeter Swans and i have never heard a group of Kindergarteners so quiet in my life! It was so relaxing listening to the nature and of course we did find the Swans!

Hunter ohhhhh he is just the same little boy. He has been begging dad to take him fishing. He loves to sit in the boat and pretend.

And then there is little Abrielle, where do i begin. She is growing everyday. Learning how to stand up holding on to things. We even have her first tooth coming in. So exciting! Well, i honestly can't believe it's June already. This year is sure flying by. I decided to do a little Daycare makeover and paint my walls. Needless to say i am not quite finished but hope to get it done during my vacation week. *fingers crossed* I had my daycare relicensing last week and passed so pretty relieved by that. Good for 2 more years! Jason has been busy at work as usual. He is already counting down to Bear Hunting season. Checked his hunting cameras for the first time yesterday and had mommy doe and her baby fawn. So adorable.

HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY ETHAN!

May 4th my boy turned 6. I just can't believe it. We had a birthday party for him Saturday May 2nd. We had a great time.

Where Have I Been???

Wow, another month has flown by and i haven't blogged. Where does the time go? We have been so extremely busy here. Hunter started Sonbeams Preschool on March 10th. He goes every Tuesday for a couple hours in the afternoon. I am not going to lie, the first 2 weeks was TERRIBLE. He cried and did not want to go. But, now he has gone for a month he LOVES IT! Rides the Cottonwood County Transit Bus to school and really looks forward to going.






We also enjoyed a beautiful Saturday outside. The Boys even Sported a sunburn for a couple days. But, it was soo nice out!





On March 28th I FINALLY convinced Jason to let me pierce Abrielle's Ears. She looks so cute like such a little lady! She cried for just a short second and she was good to go. Again I just LOVE having a daughter!!!





On April 1st Austin was selected the "Terrific Kid" for his class for the 3rd Quarter. I was so proud of him! They held a short program at school to honor the "Terrific Kids" Also, finally fixed the date on my pictures since i was getting alot of Slack for it...sorry.






So, a little update on our Month of March. I always say i am going to update more often but time just slips away!

SHE IS 6 MONTHS ALREADY!

I can't believe my baby girl is 6 months old already. Where has the time gone? She is growing and changing everyday. We just started eating cereal. But, boy is she picky. She will only eat her rice if it's mixed with applesauce. She loves applesauce. Right now she hasn't cut any teeth but I know that will be coming soon because boy is she CRABBY! We have a nickname for her we call her "Rabby" short for Crabby Abby. So, 6 months down and so many milestones reached. Soon she will be crawling and chasing her big brothers around the house. I just can't wait.......

Supper Surprise!

While Eating Supper tonight Ethan had quite the surpise. He thought he had bitten into some hard food but then we all realized he lost his first tooth. YAY Ethan...now we wait and see what the toothfairy brings!!
